In order to establish and maintain a healthy, active and productive CDC community, management emphasizes on a sound and popular sports and recreational campaign within CDC.

Sports infrastructures have been established in all operational units of the corporation and a well structured Sports and Leisure Association (SLA) is set up within the corporation to coordinate the Sports and Leisure activities. In this set up the CDC worker has the facilities to carryout sporting activities like football, handball, volleyball, basketball, Golf, tennis, table tennis, badminton, swimming, athletics and many other indoor games.

Normally SLA organizes annual CDC Olympic Games, which involve all the workers in the different disciplines and culminates to a very exhilarating finals.

The Olympic Games normally covers field sports, athletics and culture.

GOLF

CDC also runs a Golf Club at its Likomba Golf Course, which is a strict membership club. The Club is run by an executive committee of club members headed by a President appointed by the CDC General Manager.

CDC FOOTBALL VETERAN CLUBS

To involve the older workers in active sports, CDC also encourages Veteran Football Clubs in most of its zones, for the older generation workers. These clubs also operates with a coordinating body.
